The cardboard from your latest delivery, empty bottles from the kitchen and old electronics in a drawer all have somewhere better to go. With ReLoop, you can arrange doorstep recycling collections and earn points for the materials you recycle.

Here is how the rewards work, what you can recycle and how to get started.

How do recycling rewards work?

ReLoop awards points based on the weight and category of the materials collected. Once your collection has been processed, the points are added to your account.

You can redeem your points for rewards from brands such as Amazon, noon and Careem. Check the app for the available redemption options.

Every 10 ReLoop points is worth AED 1 in rewards. The number of points you earn per kilogram depends on the material category.

For example, electronics earn 10 points per kilogram. A collection of 5 kg of electronics would earn 50 points, worth AED 5 in rewards. Other categories, including large appliances, have different rates.

Make recycling part of your routine

A few small changes can make it easier to keep recyclable materials out of your general waste.

  • Choose a collection spot at home. Keep a clearly labelled container somewhere convenient.

  • Keep materials ready for recycling. Empty containers, remove food residue and keep paper and cardboard dry.

  • Separate items that need special handling. Keep batteries, lamps and electronics apart from everyday recyclables, following the collection instructions.

  • Book regularly. Choose a collection schedule that suits how much your household recycles.

  • Reuse before recycling. Items that still have a useful life may be suitable for repair, reuse or donation.

Prefer to bring your materials to us? Drop-offs at our facilities are free of charge. Contact our team to confirm the location and arrangements before visiting.

What about recycling at work?

Offices generate recyclable materials too, from delivery boxes and pantry containers to old IT equipment.

ReLoop’s organisation service starts with an assessment of your workplace. Our team can then discuss collection frequency, bins, staff training and reporting, with the scope and pricing agreed around your requirements.

For a practical introduction to sorting and recycling, you can also explore our workshops for workplaces, schools and community groups.
